About Me


Hi! I'm Clay, a game developer currently based in Sydney, Australia, with experience in design, game programming and plenty of playtesting and iteration. I strive to create games that are unique, engaging and fun.

I'm particularly drawn to games with care and attention to detail dedicated to every little element that makes up the moment-to-moment gameplay, from the core mechanics to the minor details, in order to create a compelling experience that is engaging, polished and full of personality.

When I'm not developing games, you'll likely find me playing them, exploring every corner of the place I live, thinking up a new D&D character or playing along with my favourite songs on piano.

Unity

My most familiar game engine. Experienced in both 2D and 3D game development. Skilled in C# and Unity's core workflows.

Unreal Engine

Less familiar than Unity but still experienced with basic game development and workflows, and eager to develop my skills in this engine. Experience creating polished VFX using Niagara.

Godot

My secret game engine of choice. Preferred for its user-friendly and streamlined workflows as well as its huge potential as an open-source game engine.

Krita

My primary digital painting software. Used to create VFX concept art, callouts and polished alphas for in-engine effects as well as storyboards for cinematic compositions.
